Upcoming shows

The 27th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Cleveland. The 2012 ceremony was open to the public, as it was – for the first time in the event’s history –at the 2009 Inductions in Cleveland. Guns N' Roses were one of inductees and Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum and Gilby Clarke did play a show while Izzy Stradlin and Axl Rose didn't show up.

The day before the ceremony Izzy Stradlin sent a message with Duff McKagan's help:
Izzy asked me to do him a favor and sort of get this out for him. Izzy don't Tweet, etc.

Izzy's Statement:

I have waited up to this point to see what would become of the GNR induction into RRHOF. I would like to say THANK YOU and GRACIAS to RRHOF for the acknowledgement of our works over the years as a band. BIG THANKS to all my bandmates who helped get us to where we are today. And, of course, THANK YOU to all of the people on this planet (including, but not limited to, the entire universe and beyond, etc., etc., etc.) who have supported Guns N' Roses from day one. Adios, Amigos!

Izzy Stradlin

In an interview with TuneCore in late 2006 Stradlin said when asked if he would do solo tour dates: "For my own stuff, if this things takes off [referring to iTunes] and people start pulling the downloads off the net then yeh maybe I'll go out and do some shows to back it up. Until now I've never had a format to tour on, cos if I went to Japan I'd have to play the record that was released there, if I went to Europe I'd have to play the record that was released there. It's all been splintered y'know. But this oughtta make it worldwide, make it global. Lets see what happens."
